All American Pizza was founded in 2002 by Mark Sweiss. He built the business up through word of mouth, fair prices, great service, and the tried and true recipes we use today. Although All American Pizza is only 25 years old, the owners have been in the industry since the 80s.

Mark and his brother Frank opened and operated Pizza Grandioza in the 80s and 90s and ran a booth at the State Fair for 20 years. When Mark opened a new restaurant in 2002, he sought out a new name. After the tragedy of September 11, 2001, the meaning of patriotism and national pride took on a new significance. That spirit inspired the transition from Pizza Grandioza to All American Pizza, a name that reflects the values and pride at the heart of the business. In 2012, Frank joined him in growing the company and expanding into new communities. Along the way, their sister, children, in-laws, and countless other family members joined the business. Together with longtime employees, managers, and trusted partners, they helped shape All American Pizza into what it is today.

You can still find us in the shops, working alongside our teams, taking orders, and thinking about ways to improve. Today, over 150 people are part of All American Pizza, and the people behind the business remain one of the most important parts of who we are.

We didn’t grow to multiple locations alone. Our communities helped us build us, too. From local schools and businesses to the families who have supported us from the beginning, we’re grateful to be part of the communities we call home.

After 25 years, we’re proud to still be locally owned, connected to our roots, and looking forward to what comes next. No matter how much we grow, we’ll always stay true to the family values, great food, and commitment to our communities that got us here.
